If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Being a servant is not being a slave, but being a servant is living the dignity of the Master, dissolving into the Master.
...Sri Sri Ravishankar

Seva means "service" or "to do what is required". Seva is an opportunity to give back to  those who are in need or to simply express one's gratitude for what one has in this life. Seva can take many forms, from volunteering your time for humanitarian causes to simply telling others about this web site. Any opportunity to uplift another, to expand their awarness of who they are without expecting something in return is Seva. It is also a great way to uplift your own spirits!!

All over the world, the Art of Living Foundation and its volunteers support many service projects. Many of our educational courses and specialized health programs are also offered as a service, on a no-fee basis. In addition, Art of Living volunteers donate their time and enthusiasm to help their communities - in projects both large and small. Whether it is organizing weekly bingo games at a convalescent home in California, picking up trash and cleaning streets in Gujarat, India, or distributing hundreds of blankets to those in need in South Africa, Art of Living volunteers are dedicated to being of service to others. In service, many volunteers report they find happiness and a new purpose in life.

The following programs are projects started by the Art of Living Foundation and maintained by Art of Living volunteers worldwide:.

The “Care For Children” program provides children with education, clothing, food, and medical care.

The “ART Excel” course - All ‘Round Training for Excellence provides youth with new skills for dealing with negative emotions in positive ways.

Prison SMART Foundation, Inc., teaches our course to incarcerated adults and juveniles, corrections professionals, and victims of crime.

The 5H Program is the vehicle through which the International Association for Human Values delivers a wide array of humanitarian service projects in countries around the world. The five main areas of focus are Health, Homes, Hygiene, Human Values, and Harmony in Diversity. The 5H program adopts a holistic approach to social upliftment.
